Sunday July 19, 2020
There were 7 Souls in attendance on Zoom today.
Today, I will create good trouble.
Today's Sacred Text From The Daily Word
1 Chronicles 28:20
David said further to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and act. Do not be afraid or dismayed; for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.”
Go ahead and just let out a really deep sigh.
Please find a comfortable position with your feet firmly on the floor. it is part of the grounding energy you see.
Let your neck and shoulders relax into this moment. Take in a deep breath through your nose, and exhale through your mouth. Take in another deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Right here, right now, we affirm that we are open to everything that needs to be accomplished. We release, all that no longer serves us. God, is an amazing God. Therefore, you who are the image of God, are amazing.
From the book of 1 chronicles chapter twenty-eight and verse twenty. David said to his Solomon be strong and of good courage, and act. Do not be afraid, or dismayed. The lord god, my god is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Until all of the work of the house of the lord is finished. These were the words from David to Solomon as he was on his deathbed dying. The advice he gave to his son. For he would work on the temple. Building a great huge spiritual building for the people of Israel and God. You are the spiritual building and you have been building the temple for some time. Be strong and of good courage.
Thank you god. For this amazing, amazing journey. Help us to see just how amazing it is. open our eyes that we might see. For there is but one presence, and one power in my life. God the good. God knows our hearts. Once again if we are created in the image of god. We know the heart of God too. We are one. Light a candle in your heart space right now. See the flames flicker. The living prayer for all. So many people suffering around the world. We see them whole and complete. And able to process and overcome. Dear ones in isolation, let the power and love and presence of god be known. Help us to be gentle with ourselves, forgiving. To recognize when something pops up. that perhaps it is something we need to process a little in order to release.
If during meditation, things start disturbing you a little. It's ok, recognize it for what it is, and ask yourself if it continues to serve you. If it does not. I invite you to work on releasing it through the breath. So, I ask you to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. I invite you beloved, to discover what is yours to do, what is yours to release, in the silence.
(instrumental and complete silence for several moments)
The theme for today, is lions.
I would like to share this affirmation with you. I will say it once and I invite you to repeat it with me. today, I will get into good trouble. Together, today, I will get into good trouble.
Thank you for your presence this morning, shining that good wholesome light. For being all that you are.
God is everywhere beloved. Therefore, wherever you go, whatever you do. God goes with you.
I invite you in life to be a lighthouse to the world rather than a storm. Be gentle with yourself and with others. Namaste
