Crossroads – Poetry

Hey Now Sister, Hey now brother

I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.

We can all have a good time.
If we just kick back and play out this rhyme.
This life can seem so troubled and down.
So come on and meet me outside of town.

I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
Oh my friend, oh my friend, oh my friend!
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.

At the crossroads outside of the city.
You will find an old Oak Tree.
It's a place the tribe been going a long, long time.

So come on and lay your burden down,
Let the image of this week go.
Stir up the fallowed ground.
Let the hardened heart seek peace right now.

Hey now sister, hey now brother

I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
Oh my friend, oh my friend, oh my friend!
I'll meet you at the crossroads, my friend.
