Greetings, this is Advent season. This week's meditation is Hope.

“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness." - Desmond Tutu

Hope

Desmond Tutu went through a lot in his lifetime. He was an activist and warrior for peace in a time when these things were not very accepted. He lived in the era of Apartheid and saw the darkness up close and personal. He made a choice not to dwell on those things and to hope for the light of the Christ Consciousness to shine within.

I am so grateful that South Africa had progressed and that Apartheid was abolished. In the eighties, I was very much a part of the protests in America. In Madison, we built a shanties town on the capital lawn to show our solidarity with our South African Brothers and Sisters.

There is still much work to do. Today I choose to allow the Christ to shine through me. It is a personal prayer of mine that. This energy work through me in such a way that as I pass complete strangers. My shadow will be infused with that energy in such a way that it would reach into complete strangers and heal them of whatever vexes them. Please note when I speak of the Christ I am not speaking of the man Jesus. The man Jesus was an example and a way-shower. Not someone to be worshipped. I am speaking of the pure light of the Christ within.

If calling it the Christ doesn't work for you. There are other things you can call it. The thing is we do not have to wait for a birth, or even a second coming. We can become that which we wish for the world today. To love our neighbor as we love ourselves. If we do not love ourselves. We probably should work on that too. It is the beginning of healing the world.

My hope for you this week is that you see the light within you. That you are able to have the vision to obtain those things that seem impossible for you. I have been through the dark night of the soul many times in my lifetime. I choose not to dwell on those. But to do my best to rise up a little higher than yesterday and achieve those goals I have set for myself.

I love you bunches dear ones, be well - Reverend AJ

Repair The World Vigils

Beginning December 1, 2021

I have been increasingly frustrated with the depth of heartache in the world. The news seems incredibly focused on so many terrible tragedies.

Starting today, there will be a weekly vigil online. I will be resurrecting my Tikkun Olam "Repair The World" Program. I had done one pre-pandemic and had the intention of doing them regularly. These will be live stream events. This will be done at 5:00 PM U.S. CST.

The link for the Twenty Minutes sessions on YouTube and Zoom are here:

Hutch and Rosie

There is a wonderful couple across the street from me that had adopted Hutchies sister the same week that I had adopted him. She was the last one of the litter and the odds of this are not lost on me. They have been meeting outside and just loving on each other. They totally know that they are siblings!

Yesterday was their first play date. I am providing the links for a couple of short videos. No puppies were harmed in the making of these videos!

Secret Santa's For UOM

We have had a secret Santa purchase two IP cameras for the Church. I am hoping for two more. If you can afford $45.00 for a camera.

They can be done here:

This will give more camera angles for the live stream services. This in turn speaks to the younger generation and I believe this is how we boost our online attendance.

Communion & Prayer Needs

Over the years I have heard of many who were denied Communion or Prayer simply because of their lifestyle, or political alignment, as well as Church affiliations. This has vexed me for a long time and it is my desire to be the change in this world that I pray for daily. I am offering individualized communion or prayer needs. White-Wolf Ministries has purchased individualized cups. The wafer and the juice are individually sealed in each container. So that there is no fear of contamination! No one will be spurned for wishing to partake of communion. Contact Reverend AJ via the information in the footer for any of these needs to be met.

Prayer requests can be done in private sessions via zoom, or over the phone.

Homeless Ministry

WWM is looking for locations to set up drop-off points of items for the homeless in our city. Safe affordable housing is very limited in our city, the state, and our Nation. AJ White-Wolf has experienced Homelessness many times throughout his lifetime. It is his desire to be a lighthouse for those deep in the storm. AJ knows what it means to go through the dark night of the soul and understands the variables associated with homelessness.
