Good Morning Beloved, welcome to prayer and meditation. I am so grateful for your presence this morning to life, to prayer and meditation. Truly we come together in this moment in this virtual space to find the power of now and our daily anchor. So help yourself to find whatever it takes for you to connect with your higher power. wear the world like a loose garment which touches us in a few places and there lightly. attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi.
I invite you to take in a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Take in another deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. One last time, to bring peace to the monkey mind bring in a breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
The sacred text for today is from the book of John chapter fourteen and verse twenty-seven. peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, I do not give it to you as the world gives. do not let your hearts be troubled and do not let them be afraid. Rhank you God for peace in our hearts, in our minds, in our lands.
Please gather your thoughts and your prayer intentions as we will be praying for those in just a moment. Paraphrased from the prayer for peace. Divine love make all of us around the world an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let all beings bring love. Where there is offense let everyone around the world bring pardon. where there is discord let all that live and breath bring union. where there is error let the light-bearers bring truth.
