Good Morning Beloved. Welcome to Prayer and Meditation. I’m so grateful that you could join this morning. May Grace and peace be yours this morning as it always is, for God is always present in our lives throughout the day and the evening and I'm so glad that you're here this morning to be a part of this program indeed. We do come together to find that daily anchor, to locate that space with one another where we can connect. Where we can be with each other. So I ask you this morning to visualize our virtual hands holding one another in a circle as together we take a deep breath through her nose and exhale through our mouths. Go ahead and take another deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
I don't know about you but I really really like to do more than just dip my toe into the shadow end of the pool. I like to swim in the deep end a little bit. So I invite you to flex your spiritual muscles and just swim around in this wonderful warm water therapy pool we’re in right now. You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. just relax, Master the day. then just keep doing that everyday. That awesome famous philosopher anonymous.
Today's text is from The Book of Romans chapter thirteen and verse eight. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. It truly is such a grand mystery when we can walk in love. It isn’t always easy, but as the quote said earlier... the goal isn’t to master it for your entire life. It is yours and I to master it in the moment. To love. I hope you feel that radiating from me right now and that you just allow the Holy Spirit to be felt all around you and within you and through you. Right now that my dear one is love. We don’t go to prayer and meditation to fix. We go into prayer and meditation to connect. Recently I had an incident where I was exasperated going through the different channels trying to make things happen. Finally, I prayed and that incident became complete peace in the chaos within a moment. So no matter what we're dealing with we can have peace in our lives. Not because we call on a Genie in a Bottle but because we’re connected to Divine love. When we’re connected to Divine love we become the light, and that is the only way we can overcome Darkness. Is through the light. I’m grateful for the teachings of Dr Martin Luther King. So beloved, we are about to go into the silence and I invite you this morning to recall some of the words I've used to tap into. To find whatever it is for you to do. Whatever message may be yours this morning, to let that just sink into your being. Know that you are a beautiful, beautiful person of God. so we find that space this morning as we step dear ones into the silence
Such a wonderful experience in God. To just connect and allow all that is to be. A word that kept going through my mind this morning was gratitude. Indeed much gratitude for my life. it doesn't mean that stuff doesn't happen. It just means that I'm able to process it a little easier because of Grace.
If I seem a little highlight this morning, I got a lot of rest over the week end. a restorative peaceful rest. I invite you to seek the same if you haven't had that in a while. if we listen if we’re sensitive. there are ministering spirits that take care of us all day long. They look out for us. They warn us. there is a Jewish prayer called the Shema and the words are Shema Israel Adonai Eloheenu Adonai Echad. Here O Israel the Lord our God is one. what that really translates to. Hear with listening you spiritual being, for you and God, and all that is, are One. I'm grateful for that. Nothing to do to fix to get there, it's just there. Never give up hope, things can change overnight, problems can dissolve in the light of the new day's sun. Mr. Leon Brown.
Thank you for your presence this morning in prayer and meditation. So grateful that you came and we're a part of this program. Together we can be Tikkun Olam. repair the world and the beauty of repairing the world is there isn't a whole lot we have to do, except connect with our God. Go in peace beloved and namaste
