Transcript:

Greetings, may grace peace be your this morning in abundance. I know I say that a lot. Let me explain. When I bring that to you. Grace and peace are already there in abundance. I'm just trying to stoke the coals and make it a little hotter. So welcome this morning to prayer and meditation. Where we come together as a collective to locate and find our daily anchor.

Practice the pause, when in doubt, pause. When angry, pause. When tired, pause. and when you pause it's time to pray. Thank you God that we can pause just for a moment. To allow the Holy Spirit breathing room. Take in a deep breath through your nose, and exhale through your mouth. Take in another deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. In the center it is where we find peace. It is that place where we find rest for our soul. As well as a solar panel of sorts that trickle charges our batteries with the Holy Spirit of God. I'm so grateful that every day no matter where I am, no matter what I am doing, no matter what I'm feeling. God is with me.

The sacred text for this morning is from the book of Psalms. Psalm 42 and verse one. As a deer longs for flowing streams so my soul longs for you, O God. If it is not a daily practice I invite you to just greet God as you wake. maybe even "Good morning God." Peace on earth o God, let it start with me. With you as our creator. O how I walk with my family. Brothers and sisters and fellow children of God. Let there be peace on earth. Indeed, let that peace start within me. Let it be a spark that lights the spiritual embers within me. That I would be a peaceful, peaceful man of God. That when we walk, people would notice that we don't really walk. We just glide across the floor.

Beloved I invite you in the upcoming meditation segment to do whatever it takes for you to connect with God and listen. For some it might be a dream journal, others a decoupage, still others can still with their feet flat on the floor in the silence. It's all good, whatever it takes. I invite you beloved whatever you need to do right now to hear the voice of God in the silence.

A day of gratitude, that is what i have this morning. Thank you God. Thank you, I'm so grateful that one day I spread my wings and i began to fly very high. I left my tribe behind. I never quite fit in you see. so I traveled across great expanses of water. I landed in a new place. I discovered a new tribe. I'm so grateful for you this morning my tribe. I invite you to revisit the story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

When you come to the point where you have no need to impress anybody. Your freedom will begin. Our famous friend the philosopher known as unknown. Be gentle with yourself beloved, as always be a lighthouse rather than a storm. Go in peace, and of course Namaste.
