Greetings, may grace and peace be yours in abundance this morning.
This morning I ask you to consider the things that are most precious in your life. Perhaps a life partner. Perhaps a son or a daughter. Cousins or aunts, best friends. Lt us not forget perhaps our pets as well. so I ask you to just hold all that you hold dear. Every singe being in sacred space this morning.
You have to practice even, maybe especially, when it hurts. - Jeff Goins
Please take in a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Take in another deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
If no one has told you recently. One four three, that is a numerology code that Mr. Rogers came up with. It translates to I love you. If you haven't heard those three beautiful words in some time. I want you to know this morning, that I love you. No matter what you are dealing with, or maybe even someone you care about is dealing with. I love you.
Today's sacred text is from the book of Jeremiah chapter one and verse five. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I consecrated you.
God knows us. God celebrates our good times with us, and grieves during our sorrowful times with us. We are one. No one, No one can take that relationship away. It is ours to claim. Thank you God that you knew me before I was even born. That you consecrated me. Beloved I hope that you are grateful this morning. That God knew you before you were born. That God consecrated you. So whatever it takes for you to listen to God this morning. I invite you to embrace that. There is no shame or guilt in this space. This is a brave space. A place where you are allowed to connect with your God in whatever capacity that is. I invite you to now listen with hearing to that which God as to say and is yours to do in the silence.
We rise by lifting others - Robert Ingersoll
Today let us choose to lift others. In whatever special way we can do. We are deeply loved by God, no matter how we feel. Whatever we are feeling is valid and acceptable. It is ok to accept to the things that we have no power or control over. I'm so grateful for a young friend who for so many years was loyal and by my side. If I was having a PTSD episode, the little guy would put his head into my thigh and bring me back to reality. Today's service is dedicated to my fur baby Chewy. Who transitioned yesterday. I am so grateful for so many years of friendship, kindness, joy, and love. I hope that you would honor my love for Chewy this morning. by reaching out to those you hold most dear. Just loving on them for no reason, but because they are.
Thank you for your beautiful presence this morning in prayer and meditation. Go in peace beloved and as always, Namaste
