Transcript:

I always like to begin with a sigh. It allows all that was before I got to this place to be released. So will you do that with me? Just go ahead and let out a big sigh.

Greetings, may Grace and Peace be yours in Abundance.

This morning, we settle into rest. The restorative power of the Holy Spirit. Allow yourself right now. To settle into the rest of the Holy Spirit.

Inside myself is a place where I live all alone, and that is where I renew my springs that never dry up." Pearl Buck

Please find a very comfortable position, just allow yourself to settle in. As we sit here. iI you have a second to look at whose in the room this morning in Prayer and Meditation. Just make a mental note of everyone that is present this morning. Now visualize yourselves standing in a circle with one another. Holding hands. We are a community of beloved brothers and sisters this morning in prayer and meditation. We allow peace to enter into this circle. Releasing anything that no longer serves us. Relying on the strength of our community to give us the courage to do so.

Breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

The sacred text for this morning is from the book of Hebrews Chapter Four and Verse Seven. Today, If you hear his voice. Do not harden your hearts. I am so grateful for new paradigms where we can recognize that the light of God is here right now. Always speaking to us. That if we chose to be, we can be receptive to that still small voice within. So let that still small voice speak to you this morning in whatever way is needed. I'm here to tell you beloved. There is but one presence and one power in my life and yours. God the good.

Together this morning we walk through this beautiful Garden. Flowers blooming all around us as we walk down this path toward this beautiful little dwelling ahead of us. As we walk up to the door. we open it and step inside. We realize that this room is way bigger than what it looks like it could possibly be from when we entered. There is a light blue hue all around us. the healing power from the throne. you see in mystical Judaism the blue light is a reflection when you look into the sky. From the throne of God. the emerald throne. I speak in metaphors of course this morning. But what a beautiful imagery that blue light surrounds us right now and heals us of whatever infirmities we are dealing with this morning. The cells in the body that are doing whatever they need to do to allow us to be the perfection we are called to be.

I ask you to be silent and listen to that still small voice. What is yours this morning to do? As together we sit in the silence.

(Ten Minutes Of Silent Meditation)

Prayer and Meditation are amazing tools that one can use. It is kind of like braiding. You take separate ropes and put them together to create an even stronger rope. To perform whatever the task may be in front of us. I hope the audio is good this morning. Tyrone messaged me and said it wasn't that great. If it is messed up I apologize.

without the rain there would be no rainbow. Gilbert Chesterton

My friend Bri is in the room. She was present the day of my apartment fire. She lived right across the street. So she can attest to this. Shortly after the fire and I had gotten the dogs out of the building, and I was across the street. over the top of the building was a double rainbow. God was sending a message you see. God was saying "hey AJ, I got you!" Amen? God has got you brothers and sisters. So whoever is hearing this voice. Whatever you are dealing with. be it physical, or emotional, or financial. Whatever may be troubling you. I invite you to look up into the sky and see the double rainbow. It's there right now.

The theme for today is let God's rest be enough. I will say the affirmation once and then I invite you to repeat it with me. I allow myself to slip into the deep where I find rest and peace. I don't know about you but I am improving each day. even though I am already perfect in God's eyes. Beloved please be gentle with yourself today. So that you can be gentle with others. be a lighthouse to the world rather than a storm. I invite you to pray the blessing with me for yourself and for the world. we love you, we bless you, we appreciate you. We behold the Christ you are.

Be still and know I am God
Be still and know I am God

Be still and know I am God

Please sing with me.

Be still and know I am God
Be still and know I am God

Be still and know I am God

Go in peace beloved. Namaste
