VOTING HOLIDAY
It amazes me the amount of poor manners our culture has today. People in public settings would do well to respect themselves, and check themselves. I suppose in some respects at an open mic. You are doomed to have to deal with the "could have been a contender" crowd. These are very similar to the "karaoke star." Someone who had tremendous potential in their youth. But then for whatever reasons blew it.

Last night A guy was very drunk. The smell of death lingered around him. The man was A liter of booze into it. He was semi disruptive when he showed up. Then it was another regulars time to perform. This guy has a really tough time interacting with people. His only way of communicating with all of us. Is when he is playing his acoustic guitar and doing wonderful classical pieces. For some reason the guy who was drunk. Decided to start plinking and adding to the guy performing piece. It messed the classical guitarist up. His hands started trembling while he was trying to finish the music. The drunk guy was asked once by another performer to stop, then again by the mc. He just kept on plinking and abusing the situation.

I wonder sometime if people even have rules of conduct for themselves. It seems like inner core values are not projected. Quite possibly ones way of engaging others isn't even thought about anymore. Rules of civility, I know the moral majority think they have a foothold on it. But we as individuals have to learn to raise the bar. We can all do better and be a part of our world. By the means of being sensitive to other people. If your behavior inflicts mental or physical cruelty on another person. Then that behavior is inexcusable.
