OF LEGALISTIC RELIGIOUS LAW
Paul writes about the yoke of
the law, and that we shouldn't put a yoke
around each others neck, for if we make others live by the law then we
in turn shall be judged according to the law.
There are many hygienic laws
that heterosexuals break on a daily basis,
and these can
be found in the book of Deuteronomy as well as Leviticus. Most don't
realize this but there are not just ten commandments, that is the
result of a movie. There are 230 commandments, I am sure that no one,
has lived every single one listed.
The devastation of worldly ways
In life when one does not
practice moderation, they tend to loose sight
of things that are important. then they also create bigger issues
where the things that should fall under the banner of lesser
importance is moved to the forefront of issues.
Galations 5:16
This I say then, Walk in
theSpirit, and ye shall not fulfil
the lust of the flesh 17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and
the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the
other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18. But if ye be
led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19. Now the works of the
flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness. 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred,
variance, emulations wrath, strife, seditions, heresies. 21 Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you
before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the kingdom of G*d.
Contentiousness is not from G*d, it is the division of mankind.
Seperation from true utopian concepts. In a perfect world, no one would
hurt another person. Laws would not be needed, mankind would hold
themselves accountable rather than looking to blame another for their
problems. unfortunatly we do not live in a perfect world,
most in
life only care about their means to an end, not what their neighbor
needs.
In life there is an age old concept, we don't like what another is
doing, because we ourselves have that image in our heart. jealousy and
covetousness is a detriment to spiritual health. infedelity is the way
of the world, so often people in our modern times are married in the
flesh, but not in the spirit. I know of a man recently who came to get
a massage from my partner. The man did'nt want him to use any oils that
were fragranced, because he didn't want his wife to know he was getting
a massage. What were his motivations behind this basic hidden
part of his heart? lying to your spouse is the same as stealing from
them. keeping a part of ones self hidden when we are suppose to be in
communion with a partner, leads to further seperation. most often
ending in divorce from the relationship. because soooner or later the
partner with hidden agendas outside of the relationsihip are exposed.
Living right isn't that complicated, it means knowing that you are
walking in a direction that isn't a worldy attribute. Arguments and
anger lead to tremendous amounts of hatred, most often arguments, have
no mutal understanding. ther ecan be no benefits where people in a
realationship, are at war with one another. War is not peace and peace
is not Love.
The passage of scripture's historical isuse, was that the Galation
church was leaning toward salvation through works, rather than through
faith. Paul writes about the yoke of the law being as tumbling block
for mankind. his theme of being saved through faith is
repetative
throughout his writnigs to the various churches. He did his
best
toi mpres supon the believerrs not ot get so hung up on the variations
of Law. No one can truly live up to all the religious codex concerning
the works of the Law. the Psalmist declares that there is non righteous
not one, but G*d keeps looking for an upright man or woman of G*d.
Prior to the first seedlings of the church took hold, there was a heavy
Greek Ionist and Stoic influence upon the mideteranean regions, and the
middle Eastern districts, as well as western asia.
How often will an older person try to entice a young teen into a sexual
relationship? In these modern times, we claim to be so illuminated and
filled with knowledge, but we can't have rules of conduct that engage
others in a positive manner. As I was typing this morning, C.N.N Cable
news, showed a video of a young girl of about six or seven years old in
a laundrymat, a grown man walked up to the girl and swiped the 20
dollar bil lout of hand and left her hanging there . thanks to video
surveliance, he was later arested. but it just prooves my point. this
is not a righeous person, if he has to sin against a child in order to
accomplish his own selfish needs.
This has been a problem since the first recorded civilizations began
writing. When an individual who is in a relationship goes out into the
world to seek out the needs of their home. Then a complete stranger
lusts in thier eyes for that person, trying to infiltrate the mind, for
the benefit of their own flesth. These will do and say anything to
accomplish fragmenting a spouse from thier partner.
When a couple is out enjoying each others' company, psychic vampires
lust in thier hearts in fits of jealousy trying to become a wedge
between the ones who are committed to each other. I myself have
witnessed in the community, people insanly jealous of my relationship,
trying to befriend my partners. This is a sickness within the Gay
community and quite posisbly among heterosexuals too. I can't be your friend unless I
am
attracted to you sexually. This is a sickenss of the world
and
should be avoided at al lcosts. The minute anyone even hints of
jealousy of your relationships, or mentions things like "how
I
wish you weren't with that one". The person coyly manipulating the
lover, should be avoided at all costs. otherwise the individual will
fall, because they have entertained in their mind a possibility that
probably wasn't there to begin with.
This is the true meaning of
Adultery, hiding what is in your heart from your spouse, and seeking
out people who are not like minded. for the sake of fornication, or
being unclean, and lascivious. The result of worldy ways such as these
creates mental blocks that hinder a persons spirituality, creating
tremendous amounts of shame. rather than being a whole complete person
wanting for nothing beyond your own home. being self sufficient and
reliable to each other is imperative for any household to accomplish
its tasks and goals.
Those who are trapped by these
worldy ways, generally won't be able to walk among the masses with
thier heads heald up high. they have convicted themselves knowing that
they are not livng iright. So many in our modern times are given to the
vices of the flesh and end up with severe mental health issues.
depressed or low self esteem, becuase individual accomplishments are
not focused on, and the world has become a distraction from the goals
of a household.
If a lover is focused on people
outside of the home, rather than a relationship with the "spouse", then
they loose sight of the important isuses. which are that when we are
blessed with a soul to become our mate, and we don't help each other to
achieve a solid foundation for a relationship. the physical needs of
the home disipate, the desires of the righteous spouse becomes an
irritation rather than acceptance with an open heart of truth. Soon the
powerful aspects of what gave the individuals in a relationship thier
unique relationship strengths become a hinderence to growth rather than
a powerful foundation to stand on.
Lusting after people who one sees in the public eye. rather than
knowing the innticracies of the individual, is a rather shallow
experince. When ones loins ache for a stranger, it is not the spirit
that wants them, it is the flesh. Yes over time, the spirit can
implement desire on different levels too. But to jump into a hedonistic
lifestyle of serial monogomyst relationshyips, with the design of
capturing someone for love. is a backyard approach rather than taking
the nessessary steps that need to be taken in order to achieve the
proper wisdom and knowledge of each other. without these virtues, there
can never be a sense of peace in a home, town, city or state.
Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of power of the air, the spirit
that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3. Among whom also we
all ha d our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature
the chirlden of wrath, even as others.
When the decision is made to walk the good way, one must be seperate
from the world around them. no longer are we given to the needs of the
flesh, but the needs of the spirit should be embraced. In the past we
were liars and thieves and took what we could gain from. now we are
told by the scripture to alienate ourselves from the things that are of
this world.
Before converting to G*d, all have dealt with hte world around them
selfishly. the mind following the direction set by the lust of the
fleshly desires. The nature of the world is contentious arguments,
mankind can get rather defensive when it comes to thier actions. There
seems to be little regard for respect of persons, in america there is a
trend to claim "it's a free country, so I can say or do what I want."
This idealogy is deeply ingrained in the american psyche. The problem
however is, that they don't understand tha ttheir rights and liberties
stop where others begin. effecting thier neighbors peace in the name of
liberty.
Psalm 12:1
Help, Lord; for the G*dly man
seaseth; for the faithful fail
from among the children of men. 2. They speak vanity every one with his
neighbour; with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that
speaketh proud things: 4. Who have said, with our tongue will we
prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord over us? 5. For the
oppresision of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I
arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth
at him. 6. The words of the Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a
furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7. Thou shalt keep them, O
Lord, Thou shalt preseve them from this generation for ever. 8. The
wicked walk one very side, when the vilest men are exalted.
The ways of the self serving world around us should not be a concern,
being troubled because others of less caliber are being blessed, should
never be the focus. When we cry out ot the Lord of Heaven, and plead
our cause, He in turn removes the barriers from around us, restoring us
to a space of peace. The wicked can never effect the righteous, as long
as the righteous keeps its eyes on heaven, rather than what mankind is
doing.
Restoration is really a seperation, from things that are not in line
with the direction the spirit wishes for us to take. when we act in
haste we find tha tthe answer often isn't what we wer esekeing. A well
thought out plan can help the individual to see beyond the seemingly
large obstacles in our lives. The spirit wishes to give us a sound
mind, which is what the restoration is. We begin life with a sound way
of thinking, learning and taking in al lthe information around us. Over
time we can easily become disenchanted with life, and feel quite
trapped in a place that seems like the Spirit has abandaned us. This is
one of the greatest lies on our planet today.
Psalm 109
Hold not they peace, O G*d of
my praise; 2. For the mouth of
the wicked and the mouth of the deceiful are opened against me; they
have spken agianst me with a lying tongue. 3. They compassed me about
also with words of hatred and fought against me without a cause 4. For
my love they are my adversaries; but I give myself unto prayer. 5. and
they have rewarded me eivl for good, and hatred for my love.
When the rest of the world around us seems to be against us, there is
one who is always reliable, that would be the Lord of Heaven adn Earth.
If we open up to the Spirit with al lour hearts, even though we may be
greiving because of the actions of others. G*d can bless a persons life
with peace, if they open up to him him prayer and ask for deliverance.
The begining of restoration is to see that we are in peril and that we
need to have something great happen in order to place peace in our
lives.
Te theme throughout the Jewish written word, is one of a great massive
amount of the Jews falling away from G*ds peace. The books of judges to
samual and the profits, point out that when the people of G*d
desecrated the temple, practicing the surrounding gentile abominations,
they were seperated from the Lord. This is a great mystery, every time
the kings of Israel or Judah operated in a hedonistic fashion, allowing
temple prostitution to take place. The Jews would be taken and faceted
to captivity, being removed from ancient Palestine.
Only when the Jews were observant of the seperation from G*d, and they
returned to holiness, did they get restored as a nation before the
Lord. If we are miserable in our lives, than self reflection is needed.
Looking in the mirror and truly seeing if we and our hearts and minds
are lined up with hte principles we hold in our hearts to be truth. If
not, we experience tremnedous shame and tranquility isn't obtainable.
but once we recognize that G*d be praised, that G*d is always
there, that most of all.... G*d Loves us. This is the desire
of
the Holy One, to
restore all
mankind to a place of peace.
Healing
Healing can only begin, when
the awareness within, recognizes that
there is a wound. Through careful study, one can discover in many
esoteric writings that the wounded soul is the most tormented
individual walking the earth. Statistics show that when interviewed,
the depressed mentally ill patient, claims they would rather have
suffered a major physical infliction.
I truly believe that most of our modern cultural influences are the
reason that most people, are mentally ill. Mental illness can afflict
the seemingly healthy individual quck and destructively, like a cobra
lashing out at its prey. Yes there are people who suffer tremendously
because of chemical inbalances they were born with. I wonder how many
of our modern mental health issues, are the creation of our modernism.
very few people take true rest and relaxation periods, espectially in
the united states cultures.
In this world that we live in we are better connected than we ever have
been in all the combined history of mankind, but we can't get
a
hold of some of the most basic primitive needs. The deluge of
information, being thrown onto the internet, is vast and huge. one can
find a varient on any topic, with twenty others writing about the same
thing. As sono as one hundred years ago, it could take weeks or months
for news to travel to remote locations of the world. now we have people
in third world countries with access to the Internet. Knowledge is one
thing, but at what price? hours spent on the internet, could have been
spent going for a walk with a spouse or playing ball with one's child.
I truly believe that if we turn the television off, and focus on each
other, then our immediate lovers, friends, and nieghbors. wouldn't seem
so far away, and culture can truly flourish because, you have all walks
of life embracing love, rather than a select few. The body needs rest
and relaxation, europeans laugh at americans in mockry, because
americans are brutal on themselves and others as far as cultural
expectations are concerned. I am sure that this form of propaganda that
has forved our laborers to work overtime and become physically and
mentally drained. create less quality products, than a production where
the laborers are wel lrested with highte living wages and lower hourly
time spent on the plant floor.
Psalm 1
Happy is the man, who has
not followed the counsel of the wicked, or taken the paths of sinners,
or joined the company of the insolent; 2. Rather, the teaching of the
Lord is his delight, and he studies that teaching day and night. 3. He
is like a tree planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit
in season, whose foliage never fades, and whatever it produces thrives.
4. Not so the wicked; rather, they are like chaff that wind blows away.
5. Therefore the wicked will not survive judgement, nor will sinners,
in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord cherishes the way of the
righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.
I think that there are many
people in this life, who go through it suffering tremendous mental
health problems. The Psalmist says it in just one passage of scripture.
Happy is the man who has made sure to surround himself with people of
higher caliber. A gentleman, who hasn't listened to thieves and
robbers. How often when at a bar, will some drunk slob start crying
about some event in history that happened to him. If one doesn't want
negative things to happen in thier lives, then they shouldn't go where
negative people go. Keep the negative ones at arms length, for commerce
purposes only. Don't judge them, but don't open yourself up for being
the psychic vampires next victim.
Increase your individual faith, and you will find happiness for your
soul. it is quite simple really. healing can take place, when we
realize that we are not firmly rooted next to the river of life. these
pure healing virtues want to help us to become whole, but if we
continute to hold onto the old ways, there can be no healing of the
soul. Our old ways are the most destructive forces on the planets, it
is the fuel that makes us become afraid. Learning is through experience
and knowledge and that is how one obtains faith. through the seeking
out of the individuals G*d.
Overcoming
In my travels I have witnessed
many individuals who are merely
survivors, ones who utilize the instincts and skills to get where they
needed to go. often a player has a difficult time giving up the game,
because it is so familiar to them, and easy to be victorious. so the
individual who has been wounded by the less than honorable types, tend
to stay a victim for many years, doing things that are rather harmful
to health, environment, friends and loosing sight of individual
purpose. What are the lessons we need to learn while walking through
adversity? how do we avoid the same mistakes over and over? the ones we
know are simple things, but yet... we desire and hunger for things, and
the compulsion takes over like an animal behavior, we loose our
composure and fall into our own pits that we ourselves have dug.
The key to overcoming rather
than being a survivor is to stop repeating
the mistakes of the past. learn from them, in every arena. finances
need to be looked at and maintained, pay the bills, don't pay for
games. make sure you always have an abode to call home, your own
sanctuary, and claim that sanctuary as your own, then create within
that sanctuary, smaller clusters of space that acquaintances are not
allowed in. one absolutely should have their own prayer closet and
allocate for themselves sacred space with no outside world
interferences.
In the book "the peace book",
the writer makes the bold claim that most
of our problems in life is that we don't know how to slow down. I have
been saying this for a really long time now, and feel that ours is a
"fast food, drive up window" society. everything is better connected,
by computers. we have faster smaller cars, cell phones, planes trains
etc etc. When I look around, I see a lot of people going so fast, that
they can't slow down and see that life is going on around them.
Last year I was sitting outside
enjoying the day having a cup of coffee
at my favorite coffee shop. a man was coming across the street, frantic
in a hurry, almost running. I stopped him "hey!" he says "what" as he
grinds to a full halt, I told him "look up man" he does, I say "the sun
is shining". then his face had a look of confusion for a brief second,
but secondly he broke into a laugh and smiled. he said "thank you" and
walked away calmly. A few minutes later, as I still sat there, a car
drives by and beeps the horn. I looked up to see a hand out the window
making the pointing gesture up to the sky, then a thumbs up motion. I
smiled and laughed.
Humans make things overly
complicated, and have to dissect everything.
slow down, breath take it easy. the answers will come to you through
much perseverance and self discipline. seek for truth and it shall
remove the scales from your eyes so that you no longer have to see
through a dark glass. merely looking at shadows, but never getting past
the fuzziness of the image.
The one who overcomes the
madness within, that is generally programmed
by the outside world, can only be overcome through much study and
learning about the self, finding the real core value of your unique
individuality. this can be done through music, but is much more
difficult to grasp. the concept is even more elusive in notes and
measures.
In the book of Zechariah
chapter nine and verse twelve we find "Turn to
the stronghold, prisoner of hope, even today I will render double unto
thee." Paul later writes about Trials and Tribulations and that
patience is the result of the endurance that is achieved from
overcoming a situation through the model of Hope. Hope is more than "aw
shucks I wish I had this", no Hope is the result of a calamity or rough
times, the need to believe that there has got to be a better answer to
what you currently are working with. hope is a desire to find an
answer, to locate the prize, to have faith.
Restoration
It is a breath of fresh air on
a cool spring day, cleansing all the
inner most parts of your soul. But can we be restored? what did we
drift from in the first place that made a seperation? It is us, we make
that seperation, the spirit is forever there waiting. I am reminded of
the poem of the man walking through life, and during his good times he
noticed two sets of fotoprints, but the times of sorrow and hardhsip
there was only one set of footsteps in the sand. the soul of the man
became vexed and asked G*d why he had abandaned him during those
difficult itmes. The Lord's reply was simple, he loved the man so much,
that during those most difficult times, the Lord carried him. So often
in life we think that we are going it alone, that G*d doesn't really
care about us. otherwise we wouldn't have to endure the hardships of
corporeal living. We are not alone, the spirit is always willing to be
in communion with us, it is our own selves, that creates the divisions
between ourselves and G*d.
Psalm 14:1
The fool has said in his
heart,. There is no G*d. They are
corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth
good. 2. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the chirldren of men, to
see if there were any that did understand, and seek G*d. 3. They are
all gone aside they are all together become filthy: there is none that
doeth good, no, not one. 4. Have all the workers of iniquity no
knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon
the Lord. 5. There were they in great fear: for G*d s in the generation
of the righteous 6. Ye have shamed the counsel oft he poor, because the
Lord is his refuge. 7. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of
Zion? when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, jacob
shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
Restoration takes place when one recognises that they are sperated from
G*d as a result of the corruption within the individual. Seperation
doesn't really happen, but it does create distance from our heavenly
mindset. The Psalmist says that there are no righteious people, not
one. all of us have fallen short of G*d's plan for us. This
isn't
saying it is imposisble for a right and blameless soul to
exist,
it is saying that G*d has been seeking out the hearts of men,
hoping to find someone who is living right. Those who are seperate from
G*d are fools, they think that G*d cannot see what they do, and that
there is no accountability for the actions they have commited. the
warning her eis that htose who live according to the ways of the world,
would easily lead a righteious person down a path ofd estruction. one
who passes on conscience looses sight of what is godo and perfect, and
turns darknes sinto the light.
Salvation
I won't be writing on my
personel beliefs of what salvation is, nor
what one must do to allocate a place in heaven. This part of the
literature is dedicated to expressing different ideas concerning
salvation.
Phillipians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as
ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence
only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with
fear and trembling.
Don't rely on people to help
you to understand your sins, you yourself
know what they are, rely on people on learning how to overcome your
sins. Homosexuality from the information compiled, for me, is neither
an illness nor a sin. it is what one chooses to do with their
homosexuality that makes it a sin. if a homosexual rapes another, or a
"heterosexual" rapes another man, then he has violated the golden rule,
Love your Neighbor.
Always remember you are a
member of the kingdom of heaven, and that no
person can strip you of that special anointing. it only comes from G*d.
never allow others to judge you, in so doing, you will also help to
prevent them from falling from grace."judge not lest ye be judged" if
they are condemning your activities as a lbgt human being, then they in
turn shall be judged according to the whole of the Law. This is
something I sure do wish to avoid myself.
Ephesians 14
According as he has chosen us
in him before the foundation of
the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
5. having predestineated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus
Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will 6. To the
praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in
the beloved. 7. In whom we have redeption through his blood, the
forgiveness of Sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8. wherein
he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9. having made
known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure
which he has purposed in himself; 10. That in the dispensation of the
fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ,
both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11. In
whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated
according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel
of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who
first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom you also trusted, after that you
heard the word of thruth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also
after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of
promise. 14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possesion, unto the praise of his glory.
15. wherefore I also after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and
Love unto all the saints, 16. cease not to give thanks for you, making
mention of you in my prayers; 17. That the G*d of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him:
Man is saved by the grace of
G*d, not the knowledge of men. We were "adopted" by the Lord on the day
we decided to dedicate our path to the knowledge of higher things.
Salvation is a special dispensation, one forged by the Spirit through
the flesh of the man, Jesus. He became the sacrifice of blood for all
mankind, he is the redemption. The Church's like to claim that the
church is the vessel. this may or may not be true, but the one thing
that this passage of scripture points out at the end of this particular
chapter is that Jesus is the Head of the body of Christ. everything
else is the result of order, telling the saved that they are
reprobates, is not what Paul was intending here.
G*ds wisdom is not man's understanding. We only catch glimpses and
shadows of G*ds simple truths. True salvation is having the expression
of grace at all times in front of our minds eye, always focused on it.
Because of grace, we should also be kind to the stranger, and love our
neighbor. The practice of charity is a natural current that happens as
a result of Salvation. we forever can know what is in a man's heart, by
the fruits they produce for thier culture. the fruit of a persons
business can easily be seen. if one's mission in life is to create
politics among people in a community, a low self esteem will do this to
cover the tracks of their own sins. rather than confessing to thier
individual relationship with heaven, the need for redemption.
The widower, homeless, hungry, and orfanced children, are al lconsidered
to be what a saved person should be focused on. The religious
body that attacks other believers in the name of righteiousness. is a
spiritual spoiled brat lashing out at others out of anger rather than
love. The whole time the focus should have bene on taking care of the
least in the kindgdom of heaven. instead they will preach that
homosexuals are going to burn in hell. Yes some may go to hell, but not
for Homosexuality. It will be due to the lack or willingness to "play
nice with others". The soul of an individual who walks on this earth,
mesisng with other peoples purely for the sake of personel
entertainment, do this because they have no comprehension of what
salvation is.
Salvation is practicing positive healthy aspects of a community. from
the smallest microcosm --family, household, roomates, relatives-- to
the surrounding neighborhoods, beyond to include our entire city. This
revelation of true grace extends beyond the local geographic
principalities, but instead reaches to state and country, continent and
event the world. True grace is peace, creating war at the world around
us is not grace. Loving one another is grace; love is being willing to
hold back the tongue, even who you would love to thrash the a person
verbally. Salvation gives grace and knowledge to an individual,
patience and peace in conversation and actions with the world around
us, is no easy task. But the scriptural reference demands that we be a
part of the Body in order to be saved. We can't seperate oursevles from
the Love of the Saviour, he is the direction many take ont he road to
salvation. on this pilgrimage in a strange land, we must raise the bar
in our lives, so tha twe maintain a relationship with heaven, tha tis
salvation.
All to often churches get involved with Christian fabeles and
geneaologies as well as religious legends. Often a person who says "the
good book says..." is relying on fables that may be geographic
disturbances adopted to the bible. Generally if you challenge them to
show you where it says that in the book. They haven't any knowledge of
what was said or even the context of the written word.
Recently I
ran into a childhood chum. Allen was smart as a whip as at eenager, but
would give into the temptation to run chemicals into his veins with
needles.
We were discussng my mission in life as a minister, which is
never to direct people on what they need to be saved. Allen's
reply was "I am not my brothers keeper". He took a scriptural context
and applied it entirely out of character for what htat paricular
section was saying. it was a response that cain had given to G*d after
murdering his brother, and G*d [who already knew] asked wher ehis
brother was. trying to get him to confess to his sin. he did not, once
he was under the microscope he got nervous and replied asking should he
be his brothers keeper? to which G*d responded "what have you
done! Your brothers blood cries from the ground!". So this is
how, most often, people error concerning scripture.
The same logic can be applied by a great many churches, loosing the
bilbical accounts for salvation. Another sad thing that takes place in
many churches, are the "church kids" are more holy than the adult
converts. I have witnessed many a c.k. behaving pretty badly when not
under the winds of their parental units. always remmeber, no matter who
they are, they may not have the revelation of salvation. Those who take
from others, have no idea what comes in the next life, if they did they
wouldn't do most of what they do.
Salvation should be a personal thing, not sharing of intimate details
of our relationship with the lord. true salvation is living a good
life, not being entangled with the darkness of the world. later in the
book of acts the rich turned over possessions to be sold, so that the
poor christians needs could be taken care of. There was a husband and
wife who had been saved, but corruption of the world took over their
hearts, and they held part of the funds back. which they didn't really
need to do, because they could have held onto a portion of thier
wealth. the end result was that they had died for not taking care of
the new priesthood.
Love
It all boils down to control,
through fear. always remember
friends, that G*d is not the author of fear, that is the result of
humans. I hope that anyone reading this would indeed embrace their own
doctrines, and study the topic for themselves then make your own
decisions about it. I get rather frustrated with quotes, when folk
don't even know where in the bible it is. earlier today, and I can't
recall his name off hand, said G*d even loves the fundamentalists, it
is so true. G*d or whatever you wish to call it, is love and love is
the meaning of the phrase, not hate, nor despot Christians. the blade
of truth is nothing more or less than… LOVE.
Ephesians 4:1-4
I therefore, the prisoner
of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith
ye are called 2. with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering,
forbearing one another in love; 3. Endeavoring to keep the unity fo the
Spirit in the bond of peace. 4. There is one body, and one Spirit, even
as yea are called in one hope of your calling;
No household can truly
understand the wisdom of Love, if they are argumentative. People in
life that are negative in approach to who they are in all appearances.
generally lead very despot lives. Love is not pride and arrogance, the
parent who yells at her neighbor because, her child is doing wrong and
was scolded. Does herself, nor child nor nieghbor any justice. this is
not love. love is longsuffering, never lashing out at others in haste.
cool collective and calm nerves find an answer to any situation.
1 Timothy 6:9
But they that will be rich
fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful
lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of
moeny is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith, and pairced themselves, through with many
sorrows. 11. but thou, O man of G*d, flee thse things; and follow after
righteousness, g*dliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
the above passage of scripture
shows that there are two
extremes of love, and that they are not compatble. The love for the
shrewdness of the busines sworld and the lust for more power and money,
can tear even the most righteous man away from G*d. Here it is warned
against and we are told that the love of money and possessions is the
root of all evil. the corporeal things, have not a whole lot of measure
in heaven for greatness. it is the ones who walk in love and faith, are
patient and meek. who discover the essense of Love.
Peace
I had mentioned the peace book
earlier, and how it mentions that we
need to slow down in order to obtain peace. Peace comes as a result of
harnessing desire, and disciplining the aspects of that desire, that
acting out gets one into trouble with. anxiety and depression can be
largely overcome as a result of throwing away bad habits.
Honor
and Integrity
In all things be true to
yourself, never allow every wind of doctrine
to steer you of course. the latest fashion or newest evangelist, may
not necessarily have the right ideas for you. study, learn and grow,
you will find your own course and discover true happiness through your
own personal level of Honor and Integrity.
The Acts 5:1
But a certian man named Ananiua and Saphira his wife, sold a possession
2. and kept back aprt of the price, his wife also being prvy to it, and
brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles feet. 3. But peter
said Anaanias, why hath Satan filled thin heart to lie to the Holy
Ghost and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4. Whiles it
remaned, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in
thine own power? why hast thou conceved this thing in thine heart? thou
hast not lied unto men, but unto G*d.
Both Ananias and his wife Sapphira, didn't have to tive the whole
amount of the funds they recieved for thier property. but came to hte
leaders of the church and pretended like it was all the money tha tthey
had gotten for the property. but the spirit showed to peter that they
wer elying, and the Holy Ghost took both of them, the wife and the
husband. this lack of honro and integrity was the condemnation of
themselves unto death.
All they had to dow as to tell the apostolic church that htey were
keeping a portion for themselves, then everything would have bene
finde. but instead they lied, and for the lies and cover up of their
actions. G*d took thier lives.
Discipline
dying daily
The best way to claim victory
is to daily work the vessel, the body,
force it to do spiritual things. engage the mind, spirit and soul to
become one. this can only come as a result of becoming the singular
skilled craftsman, and the watchman, guarding the self from outside
negatives.
In the next section I discuss the importance of daily prayer. I cannot
stress enough throughout this literature, that daily activities in
anything be it meditation, sports activity or a trade. One only gets
good at it through repetition of performing the action. When we sit
idle, we become strangers to ourselves, no longer having a desire for
any achievements that are possible. If we take that same amount of
time, and put it into working the vessel, meaning worship. we in turn
will gain the ability to understand tthings about ourselves tha
tgreates divisions while living on the earth.
The Scripture again and again makes the claim that the patient being is
considered the elect of G*d. loosing our temper and lashing out at
people is av ery bad way of handling diplomacy with others. I myself
struggle with this very issue on a daily basies. There are so many
times during the day I would love to scream at pople for the blatant
lack of boundaries with others. But instead I discipline my mind to not
speak of such things, it only creates more contention. never erally
solving any problems. who is going to listen to a crazy person yelling
and screaming at them? I know I sure wouldn't.
Titus 2:1-12
But speak thou the things which
become sound doctrine; 2.
that the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in
charity, in patience. 3. The aged women likewise, that they be in
behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much
wine, teachers of good things; 4. That they may teach teh young women
to be sober, to love their husbands, to love thier children, 5. to be
discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to thier own
husbands, that the word of G*d be not blashemed. 6. Young men likewise
exhort to be sober minded'. 7. In all things shewing thyself, a pattern
of good works; in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8. Sound speach, that cannot be condemned; tha tbe tha tis of the
contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say. 9. Exhort
servants to be obedient unto their own masters. and to please them well
in al lthings; not answering again; 10 Not purloining, but shewing al
lgood fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of G*d our Saviour in
all things. 11. For the grace of G*d that bringeth salvation hat
apeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungoldiness and worldy
lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and g*dly, in this present
world;
First lets look at the
seemingly sexist issue in this passage. I do not believe that paul was
telling women only to be servents of their husbands. I feel that
everyone is accountable to their spouses and their communities, which
is what I believe this passage of Pauls writing is addressing.
Second issue is slavery, I do believe in a certain sort of slavery,
such as paying off a debt. But as far as taking an individual from
their home and raising them in bondage is not right. Kant in his book,
principles of Personality. Dictates that slavery is wrong, because only
one party benefits the rewards.
The important things in life, are dying daily to immoral actions.
robbing from someone, is not being kind to the stranger. in all things,
make sure that you are fair and eqwuel in measure. otherwise you build
a reputation for yourself, in your community, that may never be
overcome in your lifetime. Chivalry doesn't have to be a thing of the
past, we can all walk with great tremendous strength and honor. For
indeed al lare the children of G*d.
G*dliness is sobriety, keeping from polluting the mind. Prayer brings
the dopamine levels up in the mind. Drugs and alcohol, creat a euphoric
version of the mind of G*d, but is a pollutant to the organs and the
number of years on this earth. Smoking cigarettes does the same effect
on the brain. The body is the temple of the Lord.
Prayer
Prayer really is meditating, it
is mystical and magical at the same
time, faith in your higher power is the ability to believe that you
have seen or heard something in the spirit realm.
The reason why most in life do
not have faith, is because they
themselves have not experienced supernatural phenomenon.
Prayer and meditations, are
good things to focus on for achieving
different levels of consciousness. through prayer, the repetition of
speech. One can obtain insight into the matter, be that in their daily
life, dreams, or friends and strangers alike.
In his book, Jewish Meditation, a practical guide; Aryeh Kaplan says
this about meditation:
In its most general sense,
meditation consists of thinking in
a controlled manner. It is deciding exactly how one wishes to direct
the mind for a period of time, and then doing it.
A person who prays, should meditate on their goals. They should
investigate within the heart what it is that is truly needed, removing
the fleshly desire to request what we desire. We would always do well
to seek out what the spirit of G*d desires.
I quote Kaplan again:
You cannot begin a program of
meditation without a certain
degree of commitment. In order for it to have an effect, you must do it
on a daily basis, spending at least twenty or thirty minutes repeating
the mantra. If you do it every day, the effects become cumulative.
However, when you mis sor skip days, the cumulative effect is lost.
Furthermore, it takes several wekes of discipline with a mantra to
attain af ull level of higher state of consciousness. Some effects may
be manifest immeditately, but it takes a few weeks before you
experience the full effects. If you have the commitment, the resutls
can be striking.
I have to agree with Rabbi Kaplan here, he truly is a man of G*d in my
humble opinion. I could only do so well to be as righteous as this man
is. I myself use to pray for a time of about two years, that the gifts
of the spirit would manifest within me. The result was answered Prayer.
After the power of the holy spirit fell on my head, much like the story
of moses on top of mt. sanai, when the spirit of G*d engluphed me in a
cloud of the extasy. I had been used in prophesy, as well as
interpretations of tongues, some would say tha tthis gift no longer
exists. I would say to them, the profit of receiving this gift from the
Spirit, was my deliverance from worldy ways.
At other times I have been used in the gift of discernment, I have
prayed for much wisdom on this very topic, Homosexuality and the Bible.
I already knew that G*d loved me, it was mans judgement upon me, that
made me a sinner. The adversarial spirits will latch onto the back of a
contentious spirited person, and whisper words into their ears. much
like the pupetmaster, minding the store, the end result is the lunatics
running the assylum.
Daily Prayer is imperative for the sound mind, to be actively fluid.
When we stray from our important acts of ritual, we in turn loose the
ability to worship our G*d. Ever wonder what the fountain of youth is?
I can gaurantee that prayer beats hands down any plastic surguery that
anyone can get. I have witnessed prayer warriors in their eighties, and
nineties, who looked much younger than their secular contemporaies.
II Timothy 1:7
For G*d has not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.
Many feel weakness in the
spine, when it comes to approaching their
G*d. Remember that he is forever always present even until the end and
beginning of time. Don't fear your heavenly Lord, Work the vessel, bend
the knee and cry out "rabbono!", rabbi!
I Timothy 2:1-8
I exhort therefore, that
first of all, supplications, prayers, interecessions, and giving of
thanks, be made for all men; 2. For kings, and for all that are in
authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all g*dliness
and honesty. 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of G*d our
Saviour; 4. Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the
knowledge of the truth. 5. For there is one G*d, and one mediator
between G*d and Men, the man Christ Jesus; 6. who gave himself a ransom
for all, to be testified in due time. 7. Whereunto I am ordained a
preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a
teacher of the Gentiles in faith and ferity. 8. I will therefore that
men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Here it is, the importance of
prayer, good for supplications and intercesisons and praise and worship
of the creator. According to hte passage above, people need to pray for
the world leadership, the United Nations, and their own cuontries
rulers. state and local government should be lifted up in intercessory
prayers, requesting peace and tranquility. What a different world this
would be iff all prayeed for guidance and knowleedge of what the divine
plan was for them. the path so chosen even before our individual births.
We would do well to pray, as
often as possible, reaching out to our lord, remembering the
redemtption and lifting heaven up in high esteem. Thanking G*d for
every preccious gift from above. This avenue of approach is the only
true way to find out what is in a persons heart, the spirit over time
will reveal our true motives. if we dillgently seek to find that which
is beyond the dark glass.
The
Flesh (outer) and The Spirit
(inner) of Man
Romans 6:18
You have been set free from
sin, and have become slaves to
righteousness.
Paul claims that those who are
of the path to enlightenment, have been
set free from sin. in other words, no man, being, angel can point to
you and lie. saying that you are not a part of the kingdom of heaven.
this is only between two beings, the first one being you and the second
being your relationship with G*d. G*d is the only being with the
answers, don't allow anyone to place you back into spiritual bondage,
regardless if they are "saved" or not.
Romans 7:14
We know that the law is
spiritual; but I am un-spiritual, sold as a
slave to sin. 15. I do not understand what I do, For what I want to do
I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16. and if I do what I do not want
to do, I agree that the law is good. 17. as it is, it is no longer I
myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18. I know that nothing
good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.
Paul himself struggled with
knowledge, he knew after careful study, and
prayer, he was given grace for his actions against himself and
humanity. Prior to his conversion, he had vehemently persecuted the
Christians and did his best to prove that they were not righteous and
blashemers of G*d.
Romans 8:5
Those who live according to
the sinful nature have their minds set on
what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the
spirit. have their minds set on what the spirit desires. 6. The mind of
sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the spirit is life and
peace; 7. the sinful mind is hostile to G*d. it does not submit to G*ds
law, nor can it do so. 8. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot
please G*d.
This is the key to inner
strength, the spirit is what gives us our
abilities to overcome our weakness. the still small voice within
shouting "hey! that isn't right man! wake up! wake up! you are asleep!
wake up wake up!"
Empowerment
Romans 8:37
know, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him who
loved us. 38. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39. neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will
be able to separate us from the love of G*d that is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Know that no man or being for
good or evil intentions, can take away
your relationship with your G*d. it is yours and yours alone, allow for
the spirit to live in your life, and know that you are a child of the
kingdom of heaven.
1 Corinthians 8:2
The man who thinks he knows
something does not yet know as he ought to
know. 3. But the man who loves G*d is known by G*d.
Live in the righteousness
appointed by G*d, not the
doctrines
and
religions of man. G*d is much bigger than this, and cannot be contained
into a small box of bigoted ways.
Victory
There are so many shipwrecked
individuals who I have met, many a church
kid, turned away from holiness and lost in the vices of the secular
world. I myself am guilty of this, it would take me several years to
discover my purpose in the Lord, knowing that I knew it all along
already. the spirit just needed to confirm it in many different
manifestations is all.
Daily
Renewal of the mind, body, and
spirit.
Through a daily observance of
ones own personal doctrines based on
careful reading and understanding of all history and examples of the
item, one can obtain reason, a voice.... the ability to walk through
the day refreshed. Renewal is regeneration, the ability to overcome
yesterday, and become a new day, a new person... A new beginning. Don't
let those around you who think they know you, accuse you of your sins,
this isn't profitable for your own course of spirituality. We all can
discern for ourselves that which is good and correct. for what is above
in the kingdom of heaven, is also below on the planet surface. it is
written, we must search and find it.
Forgiveness for trespasses and
those who have come against you is
important. otherwise it can plant a seed of bitterness, and a
contentious spirit can creep into your life. you will become
argumentative with others, and blaming others for your problems, rather
than realizing you are the victory in your soul. |
